LA BOXING EXPANDS PRESENCE IN SOUTHWEST

LA Boxing Franchise Corporation, a membership physical fitness company consisting of unique boxing and kickboxing training regimens which utilize a system and products that are proprietary to LA Boxing, announced today that it has granted a franchise for Albuquerque, New Mexico. President and CEO, Anthony Geisler, made the announcement, stating, “We have awarded a franchise to Chester Lovato that includes the right to open multi locations in Albuquerque. “Chester's law enforcement, martial arts, education, business experience and appreciation of the potential for growth in the health and fitness market made him our first choice to acquire the rights and expand our LA Boxing brand and expertise in Albuquerque.”

The first franchise location in Albuquerque is expected to open in late 2004. Building upon the Company’s nationwide franchise strategy, this agreement will, for the first time, extend the LA Boxing brand outside of California. “Expanding through Franchising is a natural evolution of our growth plans beyond our four company-owned facilities,” said Geisler. After graduating from the Entrepreneur Program, University of Southern California, Geisler founded a public software company that built interactive casino games. “I lived near LA Boxing in Costa Mesa and trained there to relieve stress. When I exited the public company, I bought LA Boxing and opened three more Gym facilities in Southern California.” The first LA Boxing gym was opened in December, 1992.

LA Boxing is a turn-key franchise with the franchisee and staff receiving full training and ongoing support. Geisler further explains, “We even source and train the salespeople in addition to recruiting professional fighters as instructors for the franchisee. Included in our staff of instructors are professional fighters such as Genaro "Chicanito" Hernandez and many others that we include in the LA Boxing Gallery of Champions. However, the vast majority of our members are women who are interested in a cardio workout and enjoying the benefits of our fitness training program.
