Franchise News Release: COSTA MESA, CA - (Feb-7-2005)

LA BOXING® Franchise Network Expands Coast-to-Coast

LA BOXING® Franchise Corporation, the cardio boxing fitness industry’s most dynamic franchise network, has announced the establishment of its first East Coast-based franchise. Michael Knox, the seventh LA BOXING® owner, was awarded a franchise for the area surrounding Revere, Massachusetts, a coastal community just north of Boston. The Costa Mesa, California-based franchisor has now licensed franchisees in four states.

Michael Knox purchased his LA BOXING® franchise today and will be ready to open his Gym and begin classes in the Boston area by late Spring 2005. Michael has been an insurance executive for nearly 20 years overseeing product and employment liability cases nationwide. In addition, Michael has a strong interest in fitness and the martial arts; he served as a military policeman in the United States army from 1979 to 1985 before he entered the insurance industry. Michael stated, “Upon reviewing hundreds of franchises, LA BOXING is the company which greatly appealed to my interest. I met the senior staff at an LA BOXING grand opening in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was very impressed with the professionalism the staff displayed. I sincerely believe LA BOXING in the Boston area will be very appealing to Bostonians. I look forward to building a strong LA BOXING presence in the greater Boston area.”

The Massachusetts franchise marks LA BOXING’S® debut on the East Coast. "LA BOXING® has gone nation-wide," said Anthony Geisler, President and CEO of the franchise. "Our franchise network will now begin to fill in virtually every part of the country," he adds.

The main reason for LA BOXING’S® rapid growth is its complete turn-key franchise package. A federally-registered name and logo with great visibility, customized computer software systems, assisted financing program, and comprehensive training facilities make LA BOXING® the obvious choice for those entering the health and fitness field. “Since signing up as a new Franchisee in December, 2004, the staff at LA Boxing® has been extremely helpful in providing suggestions and guidance on site selection and lease negotiations. I did attend the new franchise owner training in January, 2005 and it was extremely professional and customized. The team at LA Boxing is truly interested in making this business a success for every franchise owner and building the infrastructure behind a strong franchise organization to support the growth we all anticipate. It is a great concept and great people.....looking forward to an exciting and profitable future,” commented Jeff Cercy, an LA BOXING® franchisee located in Littleton, Colorado.

About LA BOXING Franchise Corporation

Included in our staff of instructors are professional fighters such as Genaro "Chicanito" Hernandez and many others. We've also trained numerous other professional fighters. However, the vast majority of our members are women who are interested in a cardio workout and enjoying the benefits of our fitness training program.”

Absolutely no previous boxing, kickboxing, training or health and fitness experience is necessary to qualify for an LA BOXING franchise.
