KidzArt Franchise - Art Program Founder Attests to Importance of Arts in School Curriculum

The case for the arts becoming part of core student curriculum is gaining rapid support among parents. Arts education is now being deemed as essential instead of just an extra curricular activity says Shell Herman, CEO and co-founder of KidzArt. "Research continues to show a strong correlation between the arts and academic success," says Herman. According to a report by the Arts Education Partnership, there is a critical link to reading, writing and math excellence in children who are exposed to art, drama and music as opposed to students who focus only on academics.
