After Serving in Iraq, Officer Opens an INTERIORS By Decorating Den Franchise

When Jill Caliri graduated from UMASS in 1999 with a BS in Apparel Marketing, she didn't go on to work for the department stores like many of her fellow classmates. While in school, she was enrolled in ROTC and was commissioned as an Army Officer upon graduation and went on active duty. Her time in the Army took her to Georgia, Korea, Germany, Texas and Iraq. She spent her final year on active duty serving in central Baghdad with the 1st Cavalry Division, earning a bronze star for her service in combat. Now she has returned to South Hadley to run her own interior decorating franchise, INTERIORS by Decorating Den.

Time for a Change
"After 6 years it was time for a change in my life. The Army was a great experience but I wanted to put down roots and get back to friends, family and the area I love," says Jill. Originally from Haverhill, in college she decided if she could find employment in the Pioneer Valley, it would be where she would settle. "So I created my own employment opportunity here by opening my own business. It's a big change but very exciting."

She Loves Jill is working with an experienced and established Franchising partner, INTERIORS by Decorating Den, which specializes in full-service decorating, from design concept to product installation. Clients enjoy the convenience of previewing the very latest in fabrics, window treatments, wall and floor coverings, furniture and accessories in the comfort and lighting of their own homes or offices.
