Franchise News Release: BROOKLYN, NY - (Jun-7-2005) Houlihan's Brings Friendly Neighborhood Casual Dining Experience to BrooklynEstablished National Restaurant Chain Opens Newest Location in Atlantic Terminal Mall First of 21 Houlihan?s Restaurants for Known Franchise Development Group Houlihan’s, one of America's most popular eateries for three decades, announced today its newest location in the Atlantic Terminal Mall, offering Brooklyn diners a time-honored, casual dining experience in a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. “We feel fortunate to be a part of the Brooklyn community,” said Falgun Dharia, founder and president of Mantiff Management, a franchise developer in the restaurant, hospitality and retail industries. “We’re excited to offer guests the relaxed, friendly atmosphere and delicious entrees that consumers have come to expect and trust from Houlihan’s over the past 30 years.” The 5,870 square-foot Brooklyn restaurant is the first of 21 Houlihan’s locations Mantiff Management will open in New York, Connecticut, Arizona and Texas, including four more locations this year in Poughkeepsie, NY; Danbury, CT; Austin, TX; and Phoenix, AZ. Mantiff Management also operates two Golden Corral Buffet and Grill restaurants along with 10 limited and full-service hotels in eight states. The Brooklyn Houlihan’s location will serve its classic menu, ranging from hearty, healthy salads and creative pasta dishes to classic entrees and fanciful mini desserts and beverages. Signature indulgences include Goat Cheese Bruschetta, tender Barbecued Baby-Back Ribs, decadent Caramel Nut Crunch Pie and Herb-Cheese Stuffed 'Shrooms. Additional entrees include Stuffed Chicken Breast, award-winning Lettuce Wraps and Pan-seared Tilapia on Tuscan White Beans. The restaurants will offer Houlihan’s “Houli’s in A Hurry” menu until 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
