HomeVestors To Award Franchises in California

HomeVestors® of America, Inc., the company famous for its "We Buy Ugly Houses"® billboards, has announced that it will begin awarding Franchises in California, effective immediately. 

“Our expansion into California is in direct response to the demand for our services that we already know exists there,” said John P. Hayes, president and CEO of HomeVestors.  “Our brand has become so well-known across the U.S. that we routinely get calls from parts of California where we don’t even have a franchise.  And now that’s about to change.”

Ranked as one of the fastest-growing companies in the real estate industry, HomeVestors is the only national Franchise that specializes in buying, rehabbing and selling single-family homes. The company currently has more than 210 franchise locations serving 35 states that have purchased more than 37,000 homes. 

“Leads have increased tremendously for our services,” Hayes noted, “not only for assistance out of ugly houses with costly repairs, but also for help against rising mortgages and other unplanned ugly situations.”

Jason Killough, vice president of development for HomeVestors, said prospects in the State of California have already expressed an interest in purchasing a HomeVestors franchise.  HomeVestors will award full-time franchises as well as home-based franchises, or associate franchises, in California. The franchise fee for a HomeVestors franchise is $49,500 and requires operators to open an office and be a full-time real estate investor.  The franchise fee for an associate franchise is $12,000 and allows operators to work from home as a part-time franchisee, invest on a smaller scale and still keeping one’s day job.
