Home Instead Senior Care Franchise Expands into Spain and Taiwan

Home Instead Senior Care, the world's largest provider of non-medical and companionship services to older adults, has expanded into Spain and Taiwan. The company now has a presence in 10 countries: the United States, Canada, Japan, Portugal, Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Ireland, Taiwan and Spain.

In Spain, the Home Instead Senior Care master franchisees are Jose Marin and Carlos Martin. The two have extensive experience in Franchising and have successfully developed a number of businesses including Prontowash, Action International and Contours Express. Luis Vivanco will serve as the CEO of Home Instead Senior Care in Spain and will be responsible for expanding the company's Franchise system throughout the country.

The China Chemical and Pharmaceutical Company (CCPC), through its newly-formed Chunghwa Biomedical Technology Corporation (CBT), will serve as the Home Instead Senior Care master franchisee in Taiwan. CCPC is the leading pharmaceutical company in the Taiwanese market and has diversified into the provision of high quality home care services for seniors.

Home Instead Senior Care's proven international business model has allowed for the development of four Master franchises in the Pacific Rim, four in Western Europe and two in North America. There are currently more than 650 Franchises worldwide, and that number continues to grow at an annual double digit rate.
