haircolorxpress Signs Leases for 5 Salons in Florida

haircolorxpress International LLC announced it has signed leases to open five salons in Southeast, Southwest and Northeast Florida. In addition, the company announced it has executed Franchise agreements with licensed beauty professionals for three of the five salons.

haircolorxpress signed the following leases in Florida:

Southeast Florida

• A 10-year lease with TJ Palm Beach Associates Ltd. for 1,303 square feet at the Mall at Wellington Green, located on State Road 441 and Forest Hill Boulevard in Wellington. Haircolorxpress Development of Southeast Florida expects to open the salon in January 2002. Franchisees Gary and Cindy Cicalese of Boynton Beach and Frank Morisano of Deerfield Beach will operate the Wellington salon. Morisano is a licensed beauty professional.
• A five-year lease with Woolbright Universal Plaza Ltd. for 1,600 square feet at Universal Plaza, located at University Drive and Commercial Boulevard in Lauderhill. Haircolorxpress Development of Southeast Florida expects to open the salon in February 2002.
• A 10-year lease with Compson St. Andrews Associates for 2,265 square feet at Saint Andrews Plaza, located outside the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton. Haircolorxpress Development of Southeast Florida expects to open the salon in May 2002.

  Southwest Florida

• A 10-year lease with Bhanu T. Patel Trust for 2,134 square feet at The Villas Plaza, located on U.S. Highway 41 in Fort Myers. Karen Johnson of Grubb & Ellis represented Haircolorxpress Development of Southwest Florida, which expects to open the salon in February 2002. Franchisees Michael and Michele Rowley from Fort Myers will operate the salon. Michele Rowley is a licensed beauty professional.

  Northeast Florida

• A five-year lease with Hoffman Hunter's Creek Inc. for 1,470 square feet at The Shoppes at Hunter's Creek, located at 13744 South John Young Parkway in Orlando. Haircolorxpress Development of Northeast Florida expects to open the salon in March 2002. Franchisees Terry McLemore, Charles Gilliland and Robert Squillaro from Orlando will operate the salon. Terry McLemore is a licensed beauty professional.
