HCX Salons International LLC (HCX) today named Alex L. Stanton vice president and chief financial officer.

Prior to joining HCX, Stanton was founding principal of Stanton Management & Business Consulting Inc., a Boca Raton, Fla.-based financial-management firm. Before this, he was president and CEO of MSC Networks Inc. Previously, Stanton was with The Sports Authority Inc., where he held various titles, including treasurer and vice president of strategic planning and investor relations. In his most recent position of senior vice president of business development, he helped to maximize sales with the development of a private-label credit card and the implementation of the company's initial e-commerce Web site.
