GOLFTEC SIGNS 6 NEW FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS

GolfTEC, provider of high-tech golf instruction, signed six Franchise development agreements in its fiscal 2004 fourth quarter. Since the launch of the company’s franchise initiative less than one year ago 11 franchise development agreements have been signed. Agreements have been executed in Austin, TX., Detroit, MI., Chicago, IL., Miami, Fl., Milwaukee, WI., North Los Angeles, CA., Orange Country, CA., Phoenix, AZ., San Antonio, TX., San Francisco, CA and West Los Angeles, CA.

GolfTEC is the first high-tech golf instruction company to successfully franchise. In addition to 16 corporately owned locations, six franchise operations are open for business. Two additional corporate locations and six franchise locations are scheduled to open by year-end.

A total of thirty-eight franchise locations have been committed to open over the next three to four years. Company executives estimate the total opportunity for GolfTEC Learning Centers to be 175 – 200 locations across the U.S.
