From Career Auto Mechanic to Widow Fashion Guru - Geeks on Call
| |
Max Bloom spent the better part of eighteen years with a Ford Dealership as a master mechanic; that all changed when he discovered “Gotcha Covered”, the nationally recognized window fashion Franchise company.
“I just woke up one day and said to myself, I’m tired of the long hours, tired of dirty hands and I’m tired of conversations with automobile engines,” stated Max Bloom.
Max headed out his door that day, off for another tiring day, but this time it included a lunch with a franchise consultant that would offer him options for his quest to be his own boss at “anything but” automotive repair. Several meetings later, Max was loaded with options and a desire to move on with a new career.
“When I flew to Dallas for a discovery visit with “Gotcha Covered” people, a light went off in my head, and I thought, I can do this big time.” Max returned home to Fort Meyers and continued his investigation calling many of the company’s existing franchisees.
“I wanted to make sure that people with no experience in this business could be trained to have a go of it,” stated Max.
Max joined the franchise group one month later and is now in his second week of initial training back in Dallas. One week from now, he will return to Fort Meyers ready to begin promoting many of the biggest brand name window fashion products in the country.
Once open, Max will be under the watchful eye of a personally assigned Business Development Manager for the next sixteen weeks. “They are there to make sure I don’t take any wrong turns, and I’ve told them that I’ll probably take a few. It’s nice to know that I’ll have that type of success insurance backing me up.”
