FROOTS Continues International Expansion

FROOTS, a rapidly growing quick service food and smoothies franchise, is excited to announce the addition of Juana Esmeraldina Rodriguez as a master franchisee charged with developing the Franchise in the Dominican Republic.

Mrs. Rodriguez, an attorney, spent 19 years with the telephone company but had a strong entrepreneurial desire to own her own business. She did a great deal of research into U.S. businesses that might be appropriate for the Dominican Republic and when she discovered Froots, she knew it would offer her just the type of opportunity she wanted.

“The Dominican Republic is a beautiful island located in the center of the Caribbean,” explains Mrs. Rodriguez. “People here enjoy a healthy eating style and they appreciate finding restaurants that help them make food choices that include fresh fruits and vegetables. I know that Froots will be very well-received in my community.”

FROOTS, which was created by David Lopez, has been Franchising since 2004 and continues rapid growth by offering a unique menu featuring fresh and healthy foods. Diners have many options for low fat and low calorie meals, and the very popular smoothies are made with fresh fruit. Smoothie add-ins are also available like energy, fat burning and protein blends. Menu items reflect a variety of cultures and new items are added frequently to keep the offerings exciting.
