CHARLOTTE FRANCHISE EXECUTIVE PARTICIPATES IN LOBBYING EFFORTS IN WASHIGTON DC

Michael Hall, president of FranNet, joined in a delegation of franchisees and Franchise companies at the 5th annual Franchisee Appreciation Day in Washington DC to lobby members of Congress on several small business related issues.

Hall was among the delegation members who met with NC Congressional Representatives Sue Myrick, Robin Hayes, Brad Miller and others to seek support on topics of key concern to franchise owners and operators.

Discussions were held on several issues including ADA legislation to curb frivolous lawsuits and legislation to authorize the creation of Association Health Plans that provide affordable health coverage for franchisees and their employees. 

“It was a great experience and a chance to see how our government really works,” says Hall, “and our representatives listened and shared their concerns and sentiments regarding our issues."

Hall is president of FranNet, a Charlotte based company specializing in matching potential business owners with franchise companies.
