Fiducial appoints investment industry veteran to lead the company's development of financial services products for the United States

Fiducial, an international provider of professional business outsourcing and Financial Services to small businesses and individuals, today announced that R. Sherman Jent, a 25-year investment industry veteran, has been appointed director of financial services for U.S. operations. Jent will focus on providing high-level financial strategies and developing new financial services to support the needs of thousands of Fiducial small business clients across the United States.

Throughout his career, Jent has worked for a range of financial services and investment banking firms where he was responsible for regulatory compliance guidance, institutional and retail securities sales and investment advisory services. He previously served as vice president for institutional and broker/dealer sales for McGinn, Smith & Co., one of the first full-service online investment banks, and as Director of Sales and Marketing for Westport Resources Investment Services, a brokerage firm offering financial planning, portfolio management and investment services.

In addition to financial services, Fiducial acts as a one-stop resource for small businesses needing legal, human resource, tax and payroll and other back-office services. Across the country, Fiducial has a network of more than 700 local offices serving more than 185,000 small businesses and individuals.

Jent will focus on expanding Fiducial's financial services to include insurance, mortgages and home equity loans. A native of Lafayette, Tennessee, Jent currently resides in Westport, Connecticut with his wife and children.
