EATZA PIZZA OPENS NEW RESTAURANT IN SURPRISE

Scottsdale-Based Pizza Buffet Concept Expands Phoenix-Area Operations with Opening of New Location at Bell and Litchfield Roads 

Further expanding its Valley of the Sun Restaurant locations, Eatza Pizza Inc., today announced the grand opening of its new Surprise restaurant at 17221 N. Litchfield Road.

Located at the northeast corner of Bell and Litchfield Roads, the new 4,400-square-foot freestanding restaurant will introduce the unique pizza buffet concept to West Valley residents and incorporate the chain's new prototype design  including a 800-square-foot redemption game area and outdoor patio dining.

The new restaurant is the first of several new Valley Eatza Pizza locations that will open during calendar year 2005, according to Ron Stilwell, president of the Scottsdale-based fast casual restaurant concept. Another new location in Scottsdale will also open this month, with new restaurants in Chandler and Goodyear planned to open later in the year.

Eatza Pizza features an all-you-want pizza, pasta, chicken, side dishes, salad and dessert pizza menu at one low price and currently has 71 restaurants opened or under development in the states of Arizona, California, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Florida, Mississippi, Ohio and Michigan.

The new Surprise location will feature the company's new prototype designed to appeal to families, school groups and youth sports teams.

Stilwell said Eatza Pizza plans to become an active corporate citizen in the Surprise area with the introduction of several unique programs that will benefit local schools and youth programs. "We value our relationships with the communities in which we conduct our business," he stated, "and we are looking forward to developing on-going programs that will benefit area schools, local sports organizations and other community initiatives closely aligned with kids and families."

Value Pricing, Quality Ingredients

Value pricing and quality ingredients remain the key to Eatza Pizza's success. Pizza selection is virtually unlimited. Customers may choose from an array of freshly baked pizza selections or make specific requests for their own individual favorites. Specialty pizzas - such as Spinach Alfredo, Garlic Ranch Chicken, Barbecue Chicken, Chicken Alfredo or "Tostaco" - are also available. Every dine-in meal also includes fresh pasta with choice of Marinara, Meat or Alfredo sauce, fried chicken and Zatos (a breaded and fried potato proprietary recipe), a variety of side dishes, fresh salad bar and "pizza desserts." Limited "add-ons" include chicken wings (hot & spicy and barbecue). Carryout service is also available at all Eatza Pizza locations.
