Dwyer Group Franchises to Spend $3.925 Million in TV Advertising in 2002

The Dwyer Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:DWYR) announced that its franchisor concepts will significantly increase their brand presence in 2002 by committing $3.925 million to advertise nationally on selected television networks. Commercials for Mr. Rooter [U.S. and Canada], Mr. Electric, Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning, Rainbow International Carpet Care & Restoration Specialist, and Glass Doctor will be aired throughout the year on major networks and cable networks.

Commercials will be seen on NBC's "Today Show," ABC's "Good Morning America," CBS's "Sunday Morning," A&E, TNT, TBS, TLC, Discovery Channel, HGTV, Lifetime, Food Network, The Weather Channel, and more.

Saunders-Ream Marketing Communications Group, of Dallas, is handling the creative direction on the commercials for Mr. Rooter, Aire Serv, Mr. Electric, and Rainbow International. The commercials will include 30-second and 15-second versions.

E.M. Hutton Advertising, based in Sarasota, Fla., is overseeing 15-second commercials and media for Glass Doctor.
