DWYER GROUP MASTER FRANCHISEE NAMED FRANCHISOR OF THE YEAR FROM BRITISH FRANCHISE ASSOCIATION (6/01)

Melvin Lusty, managing director of Rainbow International Carpet Care and Restoration Specialists in the United Kingdom, has been named Franchisor of the Year by the British Franchise Association (BFA). The honor is the highest award bestowed upon a franchisor in the United Kingdom.

"We are all absolutely thrilled at winning this prestigious award. The last few years have been tremendous for Rainbow and recognition of this kind by our industry peers is truly the icing on the cake for us," Lusty said.

Lusty recently celebrated Rainbow International's 10th anniversary in the U.K. During that time he has become an ardent proponent of franchising, growing his U.K. network to more than 100 locations and employing more than 400 people.
