The Dwyer Group Names Loudermilk Director of Military Development

The Dwyer Group recently appointed Chris Loudermilk as the director of military development.

“This is a newly-created position for our company that addresses a very important audience for The Dwyer Group,” said Mike Bidwell, president of The Dwyer Group. “With a large number of our Franchise owners being U.S. military veterans, we see this as a great area for targeted franchisee relations. Chris is a big asset in working with existing franchisees as well as educating and communicating with military personnel who seek a career in Franchising after service to our country.”

The Dwyer Group was the founding company for VetFran, which offers financial incentives to military men and women who wish to purchase their own franchise. Today, more than 260 franchisors have joined the program and more than 1,000 veterans have bought a franchise through VetFran. Of those “recruits,” one in eight has bought a franchise from one of The Dwyer Group’s franchise companies.

Loudermilk received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Baylor University. Prior to joining The Dwyer Group Loudermilk served as a marketing salesperson in the Austin-area.
