Ductbusters and DUCTZ Merge to Create One Formidable Franchise System

DUCTZ International president John Rotche, formally announced the merger of DUCTZ with Ductbusters, the leader in indoor air quality systems

The contract was signed Wednesday, June 28, at DUCTZ headquarters in Ann Arbor. DUCTZ founder, John Rotche, and Ductbusters CEO, Tom Yacobellis, will serve in dual-leadership roles in the new company.

John and I began talking about a symbiotic relationship shortly after the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) convention in February. We felt from the beginning that we matched up well and that we could be great partners.

DUCTZ brings significant strengths to our new venture including their National Service Team concept; their proven systems; and, the financial commitment, franchise-building expertise, and wealth of resources from parent company Service Brands International, said Yacobellis. The beneficiary of this combined company will certainly be our franchisees.
Tom Yacobellis is a giant in our industry. From past president of the Indoor Air Quality Association, to establishing standards for NADCA, to holding a patent on cleaning air-conditioning systems, we're fortunate to have Tom's experience, reputation and management skills to help grow our new and improved Franchise opportunity. With 30 plus Ductbusters, along with our 15 DUCTZ locations, our new company opens as the world's largest duct-cleaning franchise, said Rotche.

The new enterprise will feature The Patented Ductbusters' Process under the DUCTZ brand name.
