DUCTZ Franchise Puts National Service Team In The Eye Of Hurricane Relief Efforts

DUCTZ International, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced an on-going program to rid buildings in New Orleans and along the Gulf Coast of mold, smoke and water damage caused by hurricane Katrina.

To meet this and other similar challenges, DUCTZ has launched its National Service Team (NST) as the nation's first rapid-response team devoted exclusively to provide air duct cleaning, decontamination and sanitation services to commercial and industrial buildings in catastrophic situations anywhere in the world.

Our National Service Team (NST) is the first in the duct cleaning industry, and anywhere there's a need to restore indoor air quality, we're the first to respond, said DUCTZ International President John Rotche. The NST is our equivalent of a SWAT team: a uniquely certified pool of our franchisee's technicians who are trained to go into harms way to solve problems. In turn, we can support any of our franchisees if and when large air duct and decontamination services are needed.

Our first call came from the folks at Belfor USA. We were able to mobilize and to send 45 experienced professionals to New Orleans to provide air duct cleaning in the United States Department of Agriculture building and to The Shops At Canal Street, said Rotche.

This is an on-going effort. And, we're setting up permanent resources in New Orleans to meet the challenge, said Rotche. Eventually we'll have NST trained technicians working for all of our franchisees giving us the capability to insert ourselves into several large scale catastrophes simultaneously from coast to coast.
