There’s a New Cup in Town - Finally! Petal Residents welcome Cuppy’s Coffee & More

Cuppy’s Coffee & More has made its way to Petal and residents are really feeling the caffeine rush. The long awaited Cuppy’s Coffee café is celebrating its Grand Opening on Friday, October 26. The café with drive-thru is located at the end of Evelyn Gandy Parkway, in front of Walmart, and is the first specialty coffee concept to come to Petal.

Cuppy’s Coffee & More has over 45 open stores across the United States and would like to open five to seven additional locations in the Petal and Hattiesburg areas over the next five years. The Petal Cuppy’s Coffee is the third location to come to Mississippi, and Petal owners Jody and Baranda Anderson hope to open additional locations in the Petal area.

Cuppy’s Coffee specializes in specialty coffee beverages and 100% ntural fruit smoothies. Co-owner, Baranda Anderson, said, “Cuppy’s Coffee is the first and only specialty coffee shop in Petal and I am confident that it will be a great success! I am delighted to meet the need for great coffee here in Petal. I have already received tremendous enthusiasm from my friends and neighbors in Petal. Everyone is excited that they don’t have to drive to Hattiesburg for coffee anymore.”

Cuppy’s Coffee offers mochas made with rich Ghirardelli syrups and 100% al natural crushed fruit smoothies. Customers can also enjoy a variety of specialty espresso drinks including lattes, mochas and mochaccinos in addition to pastries, muffins, and bagels. “Petal is in for a great treat with our specialty cakes and pecan chocolate chunk bars,” said Anderson.

Cuppy’s Coffee of Petal is located at 28 Byrd Blvd, Suite 10. Store hours are 6:00 am until 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am until 9:00 pm on Friday, 7:00 am until 9:00 pm on Saturday and 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday.

“Our baristas hand-craft each espresso shot as it is ordered, so expect gourmet coffee that is fresh and authentic. Petal really needed us and we are really happy to be able to meet the needs of the people here,” said Anderson.
