Cruise Holidays of Mission Viejo Honored with Community Service Award

Today, Cruise Holidays, North America’s largest cruise-specialty retail franchise, presented its “Community Service Award” to Carrie and Ben Bajak of Cruise Holidays of Mission Viejo, CA.  Exemplary service and commitment to a group, organization or community, during the past year, is required to receive this award.  The Bajaks were honored during the 2007 Cruise Holidays Annual Convention which is being held aboard Celebrity Cruises’ Mercury, September 23-28, 2007.

The Bajaks’ selfless efforts included countless volunteer hours for the Irvine Spectrum Rotary Club, Team Kids, Inc., the Vail Jazz Foundation and many other local organizations.  Team Kids is an Irvine-based non-profit organization that gives children and teenagers opportunities to partner with community leaders on projects that benefit local, national and international causes. In addition to their work for the Team Kids “LemonAID” project and Great American Bake Sale with $6,000 raised going toward addressing childhood hunger in America, the Bajaks played an instrumental role in the Irvine Family Fun Fair at Irvine City Hall the last three years and Carrie helped design the 26-page event program for Team Kids Annual Celebration at Il Fornaio last year.
