Grand Opening Announced For One-Of-A-Kind Franchise

CLIX™, an Atlanta-based, rapidly growing franchisor in the portrait photography industry, recently unveiled its first storefront in suburban Rochester, N.Y. Located at 165 Cobblestone Court in Victor, N.Y., CLIX offers a portrait studio, special outside event photography and assisted or do-it-yourself digital photo design and scrapbooking in each store location.

The CLIX model is unique to franchising. First established in 1999, the CLIX business model offers three distinct revenue streams for potential franchisees – a retail-based portrait studio; a protected territory for on-site special event photography; and on-site, assisted or do-it-yourself photo imaging and scrapbooking design services. According to CLIX officials, a Franchise with multi-faceted yet interconnected revenue streams is unprecedented in the industry.

“In today’s rapidly evolving technological environment, franchise-based operations need to be flexible and sustainable over time,” explains David Asarnow, President and CEO of Comon Group, Inc, the corporation that launched the CLIX franchise. “We were extremely vigilant when constructing the CLIX franchise model to ensure that our three revenue streams offered provide greater opportunity for franchisees. After six years of development, CLIX CEO, David Asarnow and the Board of Directors will open the first CLIX storefront in Rochester, NY this month. An additional seven stores in the Northeast will convert to CLIX storefronts by the Second Quarter of 2006. The company anticipates 30 others to open across the country by the end of 2006.

Founded in 1999, CLIX is a rapidly growing portrait photography franchisor offering in-store portrait photography, special event photography and assisted or do-it-yourself digital photo imaging and scrapbook design centers. The company currently employs 35 people at seven stores across New York State.
