Cinnzeo Inks Agreements for 85 Bakeries

Cinnaroll Bakeries Limited announced that its Cinnzeo Bakery division has leapfrogged into second place among the world's largest cinnamon roll franchisers. Cinnzeo achieved this distinction with the signing of development agreements to build 50 Cinnzeo bakeries in the United States and 35 bakeries in the Middle East.

Wolton added that Cinnzeo's rapid international expansion will help boost Cinnaroll's system-wide sales to approximately $40 million in 2002, more than double 2001 revenues estimated to be $15 million.

"The Cinnzeo Bakery concept is perfect for the well populated southern California areas with upper incomes and high-traffic malls," says Abe Shamroukh whose company H&CCO Inc. will manage the growth of 25 Cinnzeo Bakeries. "Cinnzeo builds upscale, eye catching mall bakeries that are very appealing to customers. They have a fresh baked, oven-hot product that is superior to the competition, and they have a very attractive growth strategy that parallels our own." Shamroukh added that the first Cinnzeo Bakery in Southern California would be open for business by year-end.

"From the beginning, we have been impressed with Cinnzeo's high-end product, knowledgeable people, franchise support and growth strategy," explained San Antonio business people Hope and Ramiro Andrade. Their company Andrade Enterprises will develop and manage the Cinnzeo Franchises in Texas. The first bakery is expected to open in San Antonio by year-end.

Waddah Aswad, President of the Saudi Marketing Company that will build 35 franchise outlets throughout the Middle East believes there are tremendous growth opportunities for Cinnzeo. Mr. Aswad a well-known entrepreneur also operates Farm Supermarkets a successful chain of Middle East grocery stores.
