Franchise News Release: Little Rock, AR - (Aug-8-2001) Candy Bouquet Names New CEOCandy Bouquet International, Inc., the nation's largest candy franchise, announced that Benjamin "Deen" Lincoln, 49, has been named Chief Executive Officer. Former CEO Margaret McEntire will retain the title of President/Owner and will focus on strategic issues, real estate development, and the expansion of Candy Bouquet stores in Wal-Mart Supercenters. Lincoln comes to Candy Bouquet with more than 14 years experience in the Franchise industry. From 1990 to present, he serves as the owner operator of Market Street Cinema, a multiplex discount movie theater. Lincoln is the past owner of three pizza restaurants, two being King Pizza franchises. Before franchising, Lincoln was employed in the accounting and auditing fields. Lincoln is a Certified Public Accountant, President of the National Association of Theatre Owners of Arkansas, as well as the Past President of Tri-State Theatre Owners Association. In just eight short years, Candy Bouquet International Inc., the Little Rock-based designer-gift franchisor, has grown from one to over 500 franchises. Candy Bouquet Franchises are now found in 47 states and 34 countries around the world. |
