Butler Capital's SUBWAY Franchise Restaurant Loan Program Director Moves to Division-Wide Franchise Development Role

Anita Baron, developer of the SUBWAY® Restaurant financing program for national lender Butler Capital Corporation, has been promoted to director of business development for the firm's Franchise Finance Division.

In her new role, Ms. Baron will seek new relationships with national franchisors to achieve designations similar to that awarded by Doctor's Associates Inc., franchisor of SUBWAY® restaurants, that declared Butler one of only seven "approved lenders" for its international submarine sandwich operation. At present, Butler Capital provides loans and leases to franchisees in numerous industry segments including the fast-casual restaurant, convenience store, drycleaning, daycare, and sports instruction niches. franchise business accounts for slightly more than one-quarter of Butler Capital's annual loan and lease production.

Formerly director of the company's Car Care Finance Division and its Convenience & Gas Finance Division, Ms. Baron joined Butler in 1998 with 14 years of foodservice sales experience. She has an extensive background in structuring financing for the customers of major U.S. manufacturers and suppliers.

A native Baltimorean, Ms. Baron holds an undergraduate degree from American University. She resides in Baltimore County with her husband and their two children.
