DALLAS-FORT WORTH ALPHAGRAPHICS OWNERS JOIN FORCES TO SUPPORT TEXAS PUBLIC RELATIONS ASSOCIATION (3/01)

Owners of Dallas-Fort Worth AlphaGraphics Print Shops of the Future locations provided support to the Texas Public Relations Association (TPRA) this month as part of the owners' ongoing campaign to use cooperative marketing programs to expand their presence throughout DFW.

"We've participated in other joint efforts of this type, but this is the first time we've targeted a specific association and taken our message straight to potential customers," said Chris Barton, president of the DFW AlphaGraphics Co-op. "Everyone involved in the TPRA is involved in the purchase of printing, so it was a perfect audience for us. We hope to be able to participate in more of these types of activities in the future."

Dallas-Fort Worth AlphaGraphics, which includes 20 locations, donated all printing and paper for the TPRA's annual convention, which was held in Dallas. The printing included promotional announcements, registration materials, call for entry materials and the event program.

In addition to recognition for the donated services and the opportunity to put their printing capabilities on display, AlphaGraphics also had a booth at the convention's vendor fair and conducted a giveaway for a free Palm Pilot VII. Barton said leads for business prospects were collected for AlphaGraphics locations around the state.
