Franchise News Release: Carrollton, TX - (Jan-2-2008) FASTSIGNS® Announces 2008-2009 BoardsFASTSIGNS International, Inc., an international franchisor of FASTSIGNS® sign and graphic centers with over 525 centers worldwide, has announced the roster of representatives to its 2008-2009 Franchise Advisory Committee (FAC) and the 2008-2009 National Advertising Council (NAC). The members of the FAC serve a two-year term, providing strategic advice and guidance on services and programs that benefit the FASTSIGNS® network in North America and the United Kingdom. The FAC discusses issues that will affect the entire franchise system such as what new products and technology will enhance business for the franchise network as well as how these products will impact the future of the sign and graphics industry. Six new representatives join the FAC this year: Doug Mier, Louisville, KY; Norm Gilbert, Redwood City, CA; Wayne Dziubinski, Minneapolis, MN; Jon Toy, York, PA; Deborah Campbell, Glendale & Goodyear, AZ, and Andy Simpson, who will represent the 22 FASTSIGNS centers in the United Kingdom. The four returning FAC members are: Kim Gilpin, Grand Rapids, MI; Scott Snoyer, Antioch, TN; Don Marcum, Lexington, KY; Dave Skromme, San Mateo, CA. The six NAC members are all FASTSIGNS center owners who have been elected by other FASTSIGNS owners in a specific region to serve a two-year term. As a member of the Council, the representatives work with FASTSIGNS International, Inc. providing strategic direction for the development of marketing and advertising services, programs and materials that benefit the 475 FASTSIGNS centers across the U.S. and Canada. Two new members, Jerry Hair and Paul LeBlanc, have been elected to the Council this year. Hair, of Denver, CO, will represent the Southwestern Region and LeBlanc of Vancouver, BC, will represent the 15 Canadian centers. Returning members are Shane Beard of Naperville, IL, representing the Midwest region; Timm Godby of Casselberry, FL, representing the Southeast region, Wade Palmer, of Studio City, CA, representing the Western region; and Bill Belmont of Lawrenceville, NJ, who was re-elected to the NAC this year to represent the Northeast. FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics centers use innovation and technology to make the sign buying process simple by offering consulting, design, production, file transfer, delivery, installation for a full range of custom sign and graphic products, including wide format banners and POP, site signs, exhibit graphics, window and vehicle graphics, decals and labels, safety and identification signage and floor graphics for interior and exterior use. |
