Own A Dixie Cream Donut Shop
With more than 80 years of donut-making to our name, Dixie Cream knows how to make donuts that defy comparison.
A little history on Dixie Cream……what began in Dallas, Texas in 1929 in an effort to provide cheap eats for its patrons during the throes of the great depression, Dixie Cream quickly became a household name. It became nationally known as the first brand to develop a donut mix that only required adding water and yeast holding a unique advantage over future competitors who were still combining separate ingredients. At its peak, Dixie Cream had 400 stores across the nation.
Fast forward several decades to the year 2006….A highly respected donut making company with 60 years experience purchased the rights to Dixie Cream, which at that time had been pared down to about a dozen shops scattered all over the country. In a fortuitous partnership with Beautiful Brands International (BBI), franchisors of the ultra successful Camille’s Sidewalk Café and FreshBerry frozen yogurt, the two companies formed a partnership and are revitalizing and updating the brand in what is poised to become one of the fastest growing quick service restaurants in the industry. The initial response has been absolutely overwhelming.
