Apple Spice Junction Deli franchise was founded in 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah and has been offering deli franchises since 2003. The first location was opened by Randy Clegg & Wayne Curtis who continue to serve as Managing Partners to this day. ASJ is currently operating in 20 states. The success of Apple Spice Junction is the result of two key ingredients: Great food and catering service next to none! Our food is unparalleled – deli fresh baked breads, fresh homemade soups, crisp salads, scrumptious desserts, and mouth watering deli sandwiches. In addition to our outstanding menu, our professional and friendly staff enhances the experience for every client by catering their lunch with a smile. Training & Support
Your success as an Apple Spice Junction deli franchisee will depend greatly on the completion of our training that takes place in Salt Lake City. Initial and ongoing training are certainly top priorities. ASJ has invested a great deal of time and resources creating industry leading training programs. In addition to the initial training you receive in Salt Lake City, every franchisees staff will be trained at their location by our staff of field personnel. Sales & Marketing
Apple Spice Junction is a “B” to “B” (business to business) and retail driven business model. All franchisees are required to devote at least one full time employee to the very important task of Sales/marketing. A “scrubbed” business list built on specific criteria found in ASJ’s existing client base is provided to all franchisees along with a specifically formulated plan to direct sale and market to these companies. The person assigned to administer the sales & marketing will interface regularly with ASJ’s Sales support manager and marketing department to determine the best approach to execute for their specific market. Building awareness is the key to success. ASJ does this in many ways:
